Applications nationwide, routing under each state's licensing rules
We take applications in all 50 states and DC. Where we have concluded that a broker registration we do not yet hold is required before we shop a file to funders, routing is held until that registration is on file. Your application stays saved.

Held until licensed or registered
We hold routing in these states until our license or registration there is on file. Why we hold each one, as we read each state's rule:
- California: Brokering loans from CFL-licensed lenders needs a CFL broker license, and a willful CFL violation voids the transaction (Fin. Code 22750). AB 2116 adds CFL licensing for commercial financing providers and brokers from July 1, 2028. Held until licensed.
- Vermont: We read Vermont’s loan solicitation licensing (8 V.S.A. chapter 73) to reach introducing commercial loans to Vermont businesses unless an exemption applies. From July 1, 2027, Act 142 also brings sales-based financing and factoring under $1,000,000 under Vermont licensing. Held until licensed or confirmed exempt.
- Virginia: Sales-based financing brokers register with the State Corporation Commission. A provision of a financing agreement that violates the Act is unenforceable against the merchant (Va. Code 6.2-2236), and unregistered brokering invites SCC enforcement. Held until registered.

Held until we file: Connecticut, Missouri, Texas. Files are saved; funders are not contacted until the state opens.
Where we carry a commercial financing disclosure for your state, we show it next to the authorization at signup and on the application's authorize step. The Terms close with a general notice that state rules can limit or adjust products, disclosures and application steps.
